One of Dublin's most well established Pharmaceutical companies is looking for experienced supervisor join their well developed team!

Production Supervisor - Pharmaceutical

We are looking for an experience production supervisor from the bulk or aeseptic manufacturing space who is looking for a new challenge with one of Dublin's most well know and respected pharmaceutical companies.

In this role you will lead an experienced team on a shift basis working closely with a multi disciplined team across various functions such as engineering, quality and logistics.

Roles and Responsibilities include

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure weekly meeting of targets set for performance metrics and schedule/output adherence.
  • Co-ordinate production and maintenance activities and encourage and develop a cohesive, outcome focused, high performing team.
  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership to operators and deliver monthly performance updates to crews.
  • Contribute actively to cross departmental projects and initiatives. Close project tasks on time and to specification, performance and cost
  • Attend training and any further development/educational programs where appropriate.

Key skills and Experience

  • The ideal candidate must have third level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or higher) in Engineering or life sciences (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Past experience as production supervisor or leading a team.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Microbiology and Aseptic Processing (bulk manufacture & filling/packing) is essential.
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma/ Black Belt would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and a right first time approach is a must.
  • Must have a right first-time approach and a safety conscious approach to work.
  • Must be committed to engaging in Continuous Improvement activities.
