Strategically located in central Dublin, our client has rapidly expanded its expertise in data protection, tech & comms, life sciences, intellectual property, and corporate law. As they continue to grow, they are seeking individuals for our trainee program who have successfully completed their FE-1s and are eager to embark on the PPC (Professional Practice Course) at Blackhall in September 2024.
The new Irish trainee program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring solicitors to gain invaluable experience and mentorship while completing their professional training. Sponsored and supported by our client, trainees undergo an in-office 'pre-seat' experience before commencing before PPC 1 gaining office experience from April to August 2024 before starting the PPC in September 2024.
Throughout the training contract, trainees rotate through four different departments, gaining exposure to diverse legal areas and working alongside seasoned professionals and clients. Opportunities such as client secondments or international office transfers may further enhance their commercial acumen.
Upon completion of the training contract, trainees qualify as Newly Qualified Solicitors, equipped with the skills and expertise to thrive in the legal profession. With responsibilities ranging from administrative tasks to client communication and business development, trainees develop a well-rounded skill set under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants must have a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree), passed all FE-1s, motivated to pursue a legal career, excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and ready to commence employment in April 2024.
