A Global Partnerships & Insights Manager has become available within a FMCG organisation. This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. Seeking applicants who are immediately available to start.

Purpose of the Job:

This role will focus on extracting maximum value & driving effectiveness of the partnerships as part of a growing Insights and Strategy agenda. Role is day to day Insights business partner for the Global Sports & Partnerships team, driving clear and actionable consumer focus on decisions across full spectrum of consumer touch points around the partnerships. Role also responsible for managing and supporting evolution of best in industry sports and partnership tracking and evaluation framework to ensure maximum ROI & effectiveness from existing partnerships & identify new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day Insights business partner to Global Sports & Partnerships team ensuring consumer centric focus on Global brand programmes, strategic customer programmes, and scale experiental events
  • Manage implementation and delivery of ongoing sports and partnerships tracking & evaluation framework for key existing sponsorships and establish sports and partnerships opportunity evaluation framwork
  • Lead consumer closeness initiatives to bring 'outside in' for Global Sports & Partnerships team (incl broadening & embedding consumer segmentation) that builds wider & deeper foundational insight around key passion points and enables more 'mass personalized' comms and activation guidance
  • Maximise central insight and forge relationships to inform stronger local leverage of partnerships & associated geo scale-up strategy
  • Support development of playbook of effective partnership best practice from across the globe to increase lift and shift behaviour
  • Manage implementation and delivery of talent evaluation framework to help better inform ongoing talent negotiations
  • Leverage Global Tools, Frameworks and Category Insights and enable impact to the businesses

Key Skills & Experiences Required:

  • Blended Insights experience across consumer/brand building insights and strong analytical skills to work with quant tools (e.g. brand tracking, segmentation, media insights).
  • Experience in managing Regional and/or Global Insights & Strategy agenda
  • Experience in building strategic relationships with 3rd parties
  • Strong understanding of football industry landscape

Differentiating Competencies Required:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate a matrix organization at its most complex (multiple brands, multiple global teams, all regional teams, 100+ global markets)
  • Very strong sense for organizational dynamics, ability to build highly trusted relationships and influence through both formal and informal channels
  • Comfort and courage to take calculated risks, deal with high ambiguity and operate in the grey
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect, with peers, team members and senior executives
  • Resilience in the pursuit of objectives, willingness to take on new challenges and work to resolve issues
