Assistant Lending Manager | Permanent role | Ireland There is a unique opportunity for an Assistant Lending Manager to develop the Lending function within a well established company in Dublin

The role will involve supporting the lending Manager in managing On-Lender relationships as part of the overall strategy plan. The generous benefits package on offer is unique and rare in the Dublin market, offering an excellent pension and overall package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Lending Manager with the analysis and due diligence of new On-Lender business plans
  • Prepare and present comprehensive credit underwriting assessments of new On-Lenders
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures to enhance the distribution of products through On-Lending Partners
  • Assist woth regular reviews of borrower relationships and with internal stakeholders
  • Promote improvement of Lending processes and procedures ensuring mitigation against risks
  • Managing and Collaborating with cross function projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
  • Third level qualification with credit, banking or equivalent experience would be an advantage
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective processes and controls on time
  • Proven track record of operating in a changing/demanding environment with ability to manage multiple assignments to a consistently high standard
  • An ability to work effectively in a team and act as a guidance for less experienced colleagues
  • Sound analytical and decision making skills. Ability to interrogate financial reports including cash flows, balance sheets and audited accounts
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills and with an ability to complete modelling analysis of financial data
  • Regularly demonstrates a high level of teamwork, sharing, collaboration, innovation and accountability to achieve a common purpose.
