Finance Manager - Cork - Permanent - Hybrid (Pharma)

Are you an ambitious, results-orientated finance professional with a passion for international business and looking to take the next step in your career?

This is a key hire for my client, a global organisation based in Cork. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role encompasses financial control, reporting compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the company's growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Support Leadership Team in formulating, implementing, and monitoring annual business plans and budgets.

· Analyse and report on various financial scenarios to ensure ongoing financial stability, progression, and growth.

· Lead the financial monitoring and review of contracts, collaborating closely with operations to forecast and report on project costs.

· Liaise with the Finance Team to provide financial oversight and support to all company locations, ensuring transactions are reconciled and discrepancies are identified and corrected.

· Perform Budget to Actual comparatives and associated narratives on a monthly basis.

· Manage short-term and long-term cash flow requirements, liaising with the finance team to advise on required cash transfers.

· Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of motivation and development.

Skills and Experience:

· ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Qualified with 3 years PQE.

· Financial planning and reporting.

· Strong understanding of financial risk management.

· Ability to implement and monitor policies and procedures in challenging environments.

· Proven ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop a team.

· IT proficient. Experience with ERP systems.

· Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.

· Excellent analytical, investigative, problem solving and follow through skills.
