Support management of private wealth management product shelf including ongoing monitoring of products, management reporting and prospectus management
Perform due diligence on new and existing products including conduct financial statement analysis, annual review on bond's issuers or listed company, analyze complexity of instruments and related structured products
Monitor market trends from various sources including market research reports, trading data and investment seminars etc
Work closely with different internal stakeholders to keep abreast of the regulatory, internal policy changes, market trend and product development to maintain competitiveness of product offerings
Conduct analysis in relation to the full product life cycle including product design, materials and flows to ensure compliance with regulation and internal requirements
Participate in projects related to investment products for enhancing the existing process
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines
At least 2 years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management with comprehensive knowledge in products including fixed income, equity, structured products, alternative investments, OTC derivatives
Possess strong spreadsheet skills and experience in assessing investment values from private banking perspective
Attention to detail, ability to analyze risk and regulatory issues to products and business models
Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Access) and programming (VBA)
Proficient in both spoken and written English, fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin is beneficial
