About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Specialist (Apparel) to join the Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong apparel background-either from a buying office or manufacturing environment-and a deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and technical development. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product integrity, enforcing technical standards, and driving continuous improvement from initial design through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and manage tech packs through the PLM system, ensuring accuracy and clarity for execution.

• Analyze and identify potential fit and construction risks, providing timely solutions to minimize production issues.

• Create and modify pattern blocks and perform pattern corrections using the Gerber system.

• Conduct fittings and make pattern and technical adjustments in collaboration with the design and merchandising teams.

• Evaluate new vendor and competitor samples to benchmark quality, fit, and workmanship standards.

• Enforce technical standards, fit guidelines, and construction best practices across all product categories.

• Support in strategy, design initiation, and quality review meetings to influence decisions on new models and construction methods.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Apparel Technology, Fashion Design, or Textile Engineering.

• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in apparel product development, preferably within a buying office or factory setting.

• Proficient in Gerber pattern-making systems and PLM software.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and technical fitting.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and a drive for quality excellence.
