About The Role
As a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading a team to execute facilities operation and maintenance works for MVAC and Building Services systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement scheduled maintenance and operations works and coordinate site work with external parties such as contractors
- Supervise and delegate installation and maintenance works to subordinates to carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance work
- Responsible for testing and commissioning for MVAC, Electrical, and Building Services systems prior to the handover process to new tenants
- Monitor and inspect progress of all contracted-out/ outsourced projects and tenants' fitting-out works
- Carry out incident and crisis management for cases of emergency and provide solutions or assistance on site to overcome system defects at hand
- Draft relevant documentation for the board of management's approval, for instance procurement of equipment & goods
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Service Engineering or any other relevant discipline of studies in Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of data centre MVAC, Electrical, and Building Services maintenance and operation experience in which 3 years should be positioned as management/ supervisory level with previous knowledge to incident/ crisis management
- Previous experience for incident and crisis management for cases system defects is a must
- Strong technical knowledge to cooling/ HVAC air-conditioning systems is required
- Excellent communication skills for both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Candidate with more experience will be cosnidered for the title of Facility Operations Manager
