Role Overview
As the Deputy Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across the bank, with a strong focus on Wealth Management Operations, Credit Operations, and Loan Operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability while leading a dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end wealth management operations, including portfolio administration, transaction processing, and reporting.
- Oversee credit operations, including underwriting, approvals, disbursements, and credit monitoring.
- Manage loan operations, ensuring efficiency in origination, servicing, collections, and closure.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to implement automation and digital transformation across operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for wealth management, credit, and loan operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce operational risks, and improve turnaround times.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in banking operations, with expertise in wealth management. Experience in credit and loan operations would be a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and scaling operational teams.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
