Role Overview
As the Corporate Development Director, you will play a key role in shaping the company's long-term growth strategy through inorganic initiatives, partnerships, and operational improvements. You will work closely with the executive team and be instrumental in driving strategic projects across China and overseas markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Corporate Development & Strategic Projects: Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives including M&A, joint ventures, and investment opportunities aligned with the company's global growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new partnership and investment opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive sector research, target sourcing, and build initial relationships with potential partners.
- Oversee the full business development cycle from initial engagement to deal execution and closing.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's international presence,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and long-term value creation from new ventures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top international university
- 10+ years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, or Big 4 corporate finance teams in Hong Kong
- Strong operational experience and finance background preferred
- Background in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrials is highly desirable
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and cross-cultural communication skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
