Associate Director, Venture (Start up) Investment (100-125K)

Responsibilities

• Formulate and lead the strategy and operations of the venture capital to drive valuation growth and exit/return for the start ups (pre-A to A stage) portfolio
• Lead the end-to-end process including deal sourcing, execution (due diligence and analysis), fund raising and relationship management with LPs
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders and external partners
• Oversee portfolio companies' progress towards business goals and provide corresponding services and resources to ensure their success on the growth journey, including training and research and development of new programmes and special projects
• Lead a team of 2 and expand the team
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a globally renowned university
• 15 years of experience, with exposure gained on venture/start up investments, with a strong focus on the deep tech sector
• Qualified Responsible Officer for SFC Type 9 is strongly preferred
• Able to perform hands on work and have a strong mindset of governance and controls
• Excellent command of Cantonese and English, Mandarin would be a plus
