The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber FP&A Manager (Supply Chain) to join a Canadian success story that has scaled from a startup to a well-known brand and global leader in just over a decade. With a mandate to double the business, we need more than a technical accountant; we need a strategic partner who can look beyond the spreadsheets to "future-proof" our global operations.
This is a "Big Picture" role. You won't just report on what happened yesterday; you will be the primary architect of the 3-year strategic plan for our supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks.
The Strategic Mandate
- Strategic Planning: Lead the full-scale Annual Financial Planning and multi-year strategic roadmap, translating growth targets into actionable supply chain requirements.
- Business Partnership: Act as the lead financial advisor to the Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain, providing the "why" behind the numbers to influence high-stakes decision-making.
- Network Optimization: Beyond tracking KPIs, you will lead network optimization projects, evaluating the financial viability of distribution models and warehousing strategies.
- Insightful Modeling: Build sophisticated, forward-looking financial models that anticipate market shifts and "connect the dots" between inventory management and overall business profitability.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and elevate the performance of a dedicated Financial Analyst, fostering a culture of critical thinking and proactive problem-solving.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with supply chain finance
- Experience in a fast-paced CPG or manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead processes and work independently. You don't just provide data; you provide solutions and lead the implementation
- Expert-level financial modeling and a deep understanding of ERPs, paired with the ability to simplify complex data for executive stakeholders.
