    FP&A Analyst

    City of London Permanent £40k - £45k

    FP&A Analyst

    About the job

A leading UK organisation is looking for an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join its growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, developing reporting solutions, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Working closely with the FP&A and Commercial Finance teams, you'll play a key role in developing insightful dashboards, improving reporting processes, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing analysis that drives business performance.

    The Role

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Building, maintaining and enhancing automated dashboards and financial reporting packs.
    • Developing meaningful visualisations and KPIs to support business performance.
    • Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
    • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
    • Assisting with pricing models, tenders, contract renewals and commercial analysis.
    • Improving reporting processes through automation and continuous system enhancements.
    • Working closely with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders across the organisation.
    • Delivering ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    • About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical ability with a passion for data and continuous improvement.

    You'll ideally have:

    • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (or relevant analytical experience with a genuine interest in finance).
    • Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management reporting or a similar analytical finance role.
    • Strong experience working with large datasets and producing dashboards or reports.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including data modelling, PivotTables and advanced formulas.
    • Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
    • Knowledge of SQL, Adaptive Planning or other finance/reporting systems would be advantageous.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
    • A proactive approach with a passion for automation and process improvement.
