Job Description

Business Analyst opportunity - Asset Manager, London. Permanent role (remote working initially. Paying £70,000 - £80,000

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear understanding of the project, including objectives, scope and success criteria; proactively obtain any clarifications where necessary
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts including laying the foundations for the upcoming analysis
  • Elicit and document end-to-end AS IS/TO BE business process flows at the appropriate level of detail
  • Undertake cross departmental, upstream/downstream impacts where relevant and drive consensus towards fit for purpose solutions
  • Elicit and document business requirements/user stories including clear rationale and justification
  • Drive review and approval for business artefacts, e.g. requirements, process flows, functional specs, etc. in a timely fashion
  • Uphold architecture standards for documenting and maintaining business process flows and related artefacts

Skills/Experience Required

  • Ability to elicit and documenting end-to-end business process flows at all levels using BPMN
  • Ability to elicit and document detailed business requirements including provision of rationale and relevant context
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a systematic, coherent and objective manner, demonstrating rigorous evaluation skills to arrive at an optimal solution
  • Strong experience of developing/contributing to a suite of project documentation such as the PID, Business Case and cognisant of the impact on subsequent analysis/project outcomes
  • Significant experience of waterfall and agile project life cycles within a structured environment
  • BA experience within Private Equity
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture tools
