Morgan McKinley is currently partnering with a well-established international group with a strong global presence to recruit an experienced Group Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to broaden their international exposure and take ownership of tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in overseeing the Group's global tax compliance obligations, strengthening internal controls and working closely with regional finance teams and external tax advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Group's global tax compliance calendar, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, payments and statutory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams, local tax advisors and external stakeholders to manage tax compliance workflows and reporting requirements.
- Review corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing filings to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Monitor international tax reporting obligations, including Country-by-Country Reporting, Pillar Two and economic substance requirements.
- Conduct monthly financial and tax reviews across group entities to proactively identify potential compliance risks.
- Support in strengthening internal tax controls, improving compliance processes and managing tax audits and regulatory enquiries.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in corporate tax compliance within a multinational corporation, professional services firm or international tax environment.
- Hands-on experience managing tax compliance and filing obligations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of corporate income tax, with working knowledge of VAT/GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing compliance.
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment where processes and structures are still being established.
- Proactive, resourceful and adaptable, comfortable taking ownership, working independently and responding to changing priorities without relying on established processes.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate stakeholders across different markets.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong Excel proficiency and the confidence to challenge stakeholders when necessary.
- Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or ADIT would be advantageous.
