Roles/Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in Japan.
- Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and foster a high-performing culture.
- Provide expertise in key HR areas, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and manage risk effectively.
- Partner with global HR teams to localize and execute corporate initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Handle HR operations, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and policy updates.
- Support leadership with workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
Required skills
- Proven experience in HR strategy development and execution.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or technology company.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR best practices.
