Join a leading multinational technology organization as an L&D & Talent Management Manager, driving learning, capability development, and talent initiatives across Japan and the Asia Pacific region. In this strategic HR role, you will partner with business leaders to develop skills, strengthen succession pipelines, and build a culture of continuous learning and growth. You will influence key HR programs that support organizational performance in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and facilitate learning and development programs for Japan and APAC
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps and build development plans
- Manage relationships with external training vendors and learning partners
- Conduct training needs assessments and support capability development across multiple markets
- Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement based on insights and feedback
- Promote a culture of learning, engagement, and professional development
- Support regional HR projects such as surveys, capability assessments, site reviews, and cross-market initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, ideally in learning, talent management, or HR project management
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related fields (Master's degree a plus)
- Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs across regions or multiple markets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Soft Skills:
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills within a matrixed, multinational environment
- Ability to influence and partner with business leaders and HR teams
- Highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
