Join a global technology-driven company as an HR Administrative Assistant, where you'll play a key role in supporting end-to-end HR operations. From recruitment and onboarding to payroll, compliance, and employee engagement, this role ensures smooth HR processes and effective collaboration across departments. You'll work closely with both local and global teams in an environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations for test center staff, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and contract renewals.
- Act as the main HR contact for Site Managers, handling employee inquiries and issuing HR-related documents.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal data, time tracking (AKASHI), and payroll coordination.
- Collaborate with Finance and vendors on reporting, invoice processing (INVOX), and Year-End Tax Adjustments.
- Manage health and safety processes such as annual health checks, government filings, and coordination with industrial physicians.
- Support HR system implementation (Dayforce) and facilitate a smooth transition to Employee Self Service.
- Liaise with external contractors to maintain up-to-date contracts and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in HR administration or payroll support.
- Experience handling payroll for shift workers.
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Japanese labor laws and social insurance regulations (mandatory).
- Experience in employee onboarding and offboarding.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native fluency (required for daily HR operations and documentation).
- English: Basic level (ability to understand English via AI translation tools).
Soft Skills:
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR systems or process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of global HR practices or exposure to international organizations.
