Get to know the division you could be joining
As a Recruitment Consultant you would be joining one of our thriving teams and specialise in recruiting across the Industrial and Automotive sectors. This is a busy, established recruitment environment with a client base for you to engage with from day one.
Your role as an Associate/Recruitment Consultant
- Work with a team of successful Recruitment Consultants to place bilingual (Japanese-English) professionals into global companies
- Candidate sourcing through cold calling/headhunting, online channels (LinkedIn, job boards), job advertisements and database
- Candidate management (follow-up calls with existing contacts)
- Proactively capture relevant market information through conversation with professionals in the market
- Achieving monthly and quarterly fee targets
- Interviewing, selection and assessment of candidates
- Business development activity targeting new and existing clients, including research, canvass calls, and quality calls
- Developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the specialist sector and market recruited in
- Preparing candidates and clients for interview
- Ensuring that all clients and candidates receive the highest possible level of service
- Completing all candidate and client information on database system
- Ensuring all information is kept up to date
What We Are Looking For
- 1-2 years previous recruitment experience ideally in Industrial and Automotive
- Proven experience of working in agency recruitment in a 360 role
- Strong organisational skills: the role will require the individual to 'multi-task'
- Outstanding communication and influencing/interpersonal skills
- Professional/self-motivated demeanour and attitude, a team player
- Entrepreneurial spirit and confident attitude - thrives on working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and Japanese is a must (at the moment, we are looking for business Japanese minimum)
- Driven, energetic, team player, determined, resilient, willing to learn and build relationships
- Must already be in Japan
