A globally recognized entertainment and media organization is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and evolve its talent acquisition strategy in Japan. This role is critical to supporting business transformation and long-term growth by attracting diverse, high-impact talent. You will partner closely with senior leaders to align hiring strategies with business objectives while building a strong employer brand in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy for the Japan business
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment across all functions, ensuring quality, speed, and efficiency
- Partner with senior leadership and HR to align workforce planning with business strategy
- Provide market insights and strategic talent advisory support to hiring managers
- Drive employer branding, candidate experience, and DE&I hiring initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment and share best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including leadership of in-house or agency teams
- Strong knowledge of the Japan recruitment market, employment regulations, and hiring trends
- Proven experience designing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders on workforce planning and hiring decisions
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, or multinational organizations

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
