Credit Controller (German-Speaking) - Swindon - Global Business, Hybrid Working

Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing international organisation based in Swindon, in the search for a German-speaking Credit Controller to join their dynamic Accounts Receivable team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to work for a well-established yet forward-thinking global company.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will take full ownership of the Accounts Receivable ledger for the German market, working with key locations across Europe. This is a hybrid role offering a mix of home and office-based work from their Swindon site.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing collections across the German ledger and ensuring timely cash flow

Setting up new customers and performing credit assessments

Leading weekly debtor reporting, including bad debt and cash projections

Running monthly close procedures and reconciliations

Partnering with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve aged debt

Holding debtor review meetings and making recommendations for improvement

Uploading GL data and maintaining ledger accuracy
About You:
-
You're an experienced Credit Controller or Finance professional with a track record of managing large, complex ledgers

Fluent in German (essential) - verbal and written

Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

Able to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure

Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
