The firm provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of businesses and individuals.     Position Summary:

    The Manager will oversee compilation engagements and manage both corporate and personal tax files. This role involves direct client interaction, staff supervision, and hands-on file management from planning through completion. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and review compilation (Notice to Reader) engagements for small to mid-sized businesses
    • Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust income tax returns
    • Provide tax planning support for individuals and businesses
    • Maintain strong client relationships and act as a primary point of contact
    • Supervise, train, and review the work of junior accounting staff
    • Monitor and manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
    • Stay informed on relevant tax legislation and accounting standards

    Qualifications:

    • CPA designation in good standing
    • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on compilations and tax
    • Proficient in preparing and reviewing both corporate and individual tax returns
    • Experience with Caseware and Taxprep is preferred
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
    • Proven ability to lead client files and mentor junior team members
