Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the multi-year technology and systems roadmap for the Japan/Korea regional Hub, aligned with wider business objectives.
- Take overall accountability for the performance, security, scalability, and integration of travel technology platforms, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital products.
- Lead technology transformation initiatives across AI, automation, digital solutions, and data-led personalisation to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Partner closely with Group Technology to align regional initiatives with global architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and technology standards.
- Modernise legacy technology environments and reduce reliance on manual processes, fragmented systems, and offline tools.
- Build a more integrated, resilient, secure, and scalable technology ecosystem across regional operations.
- Manage technology budgets, software licensing, vendor relationships, outsourced services, and external technology partners.
- Provide senior leadership and strategic direction to the local IT team and Project Manager, supporting team performance and capability development.
- Drive the adoption of AI-enabled solutions and identify opportunities to use technology to create measurable business value.
- Partner with senior business leaders across Japan, Korea, regional, and global teams to translate business priorities into practical technology strategies and investment decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience across technology, IT leadership, digital transformation, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience developing and leading technology strategy and transformation within a complex international organisation.
- Strong experience across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and digital technologies.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Strong understanding of technology governance, information security, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and integrated business systems.
- Experience managing technology budgets, software licensing, vendors, outsourced services, and external technology providers.
- Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders and regional or global technology leadership teams.
- Experience leading IT teams and managing technology or digital transformation programmes in environments where priorities, resources, and decision-making are shared.

- Experience leading AI transformation, automation, or data-driven personalisation initiatives.

- Exposure to large-scale technology modernisation, system integration, or legacy transformation programmes.
