Join a globally recognized professional services and consulting firm as a Manager specializing in Transaction Due Diligence. In this role, you will lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, supporting clients through complex M&A transactions and deal structuring processes.
You will work closely with multinational clients and senior stakeholders, managing project teams while providing strategic financial insights. This position offers exposure to cross-border M&A projects and the opportunity to further develop expertise in transaction advisory and corporate finance within a global consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial due diligence projects for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
- Support clients in structuring deals and evaluating transaction risks and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing sale and purchase agreements and other transaction documentation.
- Manage project teams and coordinate workflows to ensure efficient delivery of due diligence engagements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present financial insights and transaction recommendations.
- Contribute to cross-border M&A transactions, collaborating with international teams across the firm's global network.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant qualification (Japan CPA or US CPA).
- 3+ years of experience in financial due diligence.
- Experience managing audit engagements as Auditor-in-Charge supervising teams of 5-6 members.
- Strong working knowledge of current accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities when handling complex engagements.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business or intermediate level preferred
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing cross-border M&A projects.
- International experience or exposure to global consulting environments.
