IT Audit Specialist - Global Insurance (No Audit Exp.)

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of individual IT and security audits to assess technology risks and control effectiveness
- Review ongoing technology initiatives in Japan, including IT renewal and cloud migration projects, and assess changes as required
- Contribute to the development and execution of a risk-based annual audit plan
- Improve audit quality and efficiency through the use of data analytics, automation, and generative AI
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global audit teams to share insights and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT risk, IT-related roles, or audit functions
- Exposure to technology environments within financial services or regulated industries is preferred
Soft Skills:
- Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to work proactively and independently
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing technology and business environment
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent
- Japanese: Business level (JLPT N2 or above)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Background in cybersecurity or information security
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP
