In this role, you will take ownership of the architecture, development, and optimisation of mobile SDKs that enable secure identity verification and seamless third-party integration. With a primary focus on iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, you will work closely with backend, security, and product teams to build reliable SDK solutions that meet demanding performance, privacy, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance eKYC mobile SDKs for iOS, with supporting development and coverage for Android platforms.
• Build secure and reusable SDK components for third-party integrations while ensuring compliance with app store requirements, privacy standards, and mobile security practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, security specialists, and product teams to define SDK architecture, technical interfaces, behaviours, and integration requirements.
• Optimise SDK performance, memory usage, stability, and reliability across different mobile devices and operating system versions.
• Create clear technical documentation, sample code, and integration guides, conduct code reviews, and provide technical support to internal engineering teams and SDK users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional mobile application development experience, with deep expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
• Proven experience developing mobile SDKs, frameworks, system-level libraries, or cross-platform architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with iOS security technologies, including Keychain, Secure Enclave, and data encryption.
• Experience designing reusable mobile components and technical interfaces for integration into third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance, memory management, stability, and secure software development practices.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a high degree of technical independence and ownership.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills for collaborating with backend, security, product, and mobile engineering teams.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to answer technical questions and support internal engineers and integration partners.
• Ability to communicate complex mobile architecture and security concepts clearly to both technical and cross-functional stakeholders.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Intermediate / Business level.
• English: Professional fluency preferred for cross-functional and international collaboration.
• Chinese: Professional fluency may also be considered for team communication.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Android development using Kotlin or Java, or designing cross-platform mobile SDK architectures.
• Previous experience within fintech, eKYC, digital identity verification, cryptography, or mobile security.
• Proven experience supporting external or third-party developers with SDK integration and implementation.
• Knowledge of mobile privacy requirements, app store compliance, authentication, encryption, and secure data handling.
• Experience developing SDKs or mobile infrastructure for high-traffic, large-scale digital platforms.
