Roles/Responsibilities
- Draft treaties, amendments, and other agreements, ensuring alignment with company standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend changes to client-prepared documents to resolve inconsistencies.
- Monitor documentation status, ensuring service standards are met, and escalate as required.
- Obtain internal and external comments and necessary approvals for treaty documents.
- Manage treaty finalization process, including obtaining authorized signatures and filing.
- Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and resolution of disputes/lawsuits.
Required skills
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in reviewing and drafting contracts and agreements in English and Japanese.
- Business-level English (spoken and written).
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of reinsurance arrangements and treaty provisions.
- Experience in the life reinsurance and/or insurance industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
