Financial Controller

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced qualified Financial Controller to work for an organisation based in the Guildford, Surrey area. The Financial Controller will make sure accounting practices, processes, financial reporting, budgets etc are in place across the group as well as providing the stakeholders with financial analysis and insights.

Salary: £75-80K

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Financial Controller duties:

• Produce monthly management accounts for the group
• Financial analysis and providing commentary, guidance to the key management
• Track and report all expenditure
• Production of audit and statutory accounts
• Responsibility for VAT returns
• Financial modelling of new initiatives

Skills and experience:

• Experience of working in a similar Financial Controller role, ideally within the Charity / Educational / Local Government sector
• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant
• Excellent communication skills
