We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Floor Engineer to join our client's IT support team, providing dedicated technical support for trading floor users in a dynamic financial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting trading applications (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters), managing IT hardware/software setups, and troubleshooting within high-pressure, time-sensitive operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deskside support for traders and trading floor technologies (PCs, multi-monitor setups, mobile devices, IPC, AV systems).
- Troubleshoot trading applications and Windows 11/Office 365 environments.
- Manage IT equipment lifecycle: setup, deployment, decommissioning, and inventory control.
- Support and maintain AV/VC systems, conduct daily health checks, and ensure readiness of meeting room devices.
- Accurately document incidents and requests using ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of IT support experience, with at least 1 year supporting bank trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Azure, networking, and trading tools (Bloomberg, Reuters).
- ITIL certification preferred.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Confident in engaging with traders and stakeholders.
- Team player with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
