Position Overview:
The Senior Learning & Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their learning and development strategy. This role is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive L&D programs that enhance employee skills, drive career growth, and support their organizational objectives across multiple countries in South East Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic L&D Leadership: Develop and implement a regional L&D strategy that aligns with their business goals and supports the growth and development of their employees across South East Asia.
- Program Design and Implementation: Create and oversee the delivery of engaging and impactful training programs, workshops, and e-learning solutions tailored to various roles and levels within the organization.
- Talent Development: Identify skills gaps and development needs through assessments and feedback, and design targeted development programs to address these needs and foster employee growth.
- Regional Coordination: Collaborate with local HR teams and business leaders to ensure L&D initiatives are effectively tailored and delivered in alignment with regional and cultural contexts.
- Performance Management: Measure the effectiveness of L&D programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, and continuously refine programs to enhance impact.
- Leadership Development: Develop and implement leadership training programs to cultivate future leaders and support succession planning within the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior management and key stakeholders to promote the value of L&D initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in a senior L&D role within the retail industry, with a strong understanding of regional dynamics in South East Asia.
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective learning and development programs and initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in managing cross-cultural teams and delivering L&D solutions in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field; advanced L&D certifications or MBA preferred.
