We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Marine Underwriting team in the Central Business District (CBD). This role is ideal for individuals with a background in insurance administration who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job title: Marine Underwriting Support
Work arrangement: Hybrid (4x work onsite, 1 day work from home) after 3 months of onsite training
Office location: CBD
Contract term: 1 year with opportunity for conversion based on performance
Job responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of renewal documentation, including data analysis and compliance screening.
- Manage professional correspondence with external partners and intermediaries via email and telephone to facilitate account workflows.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the policy lifecycle, from initial rating and documentation to post-binding updates and billing.
- Ad-hoc tasks and supporting departmental operations as required.
Skills & Requirements:
- Min 1-2 years of insurance underwriting support experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory, specifically the ability to utilize Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for data management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to articulate information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- A proactive team player with a positive, solutions-oriented approach to tasks and challenges.
- Dedicated to complete Marine learnings and training and professional development modules throughout the tenure.
