The role:
They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Group HR Director to lead and oversee our HR operations across Asia. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in shaping their HR strategy, driving organizational excellence, and ensuring the alignment of HR practices with their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with their business objectives and drive organizational growth across Asia.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure they attract and retain top talent.
- HR Transformation: Lead HR transformation initiatives to enhance process efficiency, streamline operations, and implement innovative HR practices.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement through effective communication, recognition programs, and career development opportunities.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in Asia, and manage HR-related risk effectively.
- Performance Management: Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to support high performance and career growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with regional and local leadership teams to address HR needs, provide guidance, and support business objectives.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within the retail industry and across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations in Asia.
- Demonstrated success in leading HR transformation initiatives and driving strategic HR projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR qualifications or MBA preferred.
