Key Responsibilities:
- The eTrading Fixed Income Application Support Specialist will interact with users from Front Office, Finance & Operations, Back Office, Treasury Credit, and Risk Management to develop and implement effective technology solutions while supporting existing applications and their frameworks.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and delivering solutions for the Fixed Income Trading & Sales desks in Singapore.
- Joining an experienced team responsible for managing applications that provide pricing, risk, electronic/algorithmic trading, and trade capture functionalities.
- Handling 1st and 2nd line application support, engaging with various stakeholders across Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams.
- The role requires a hands-on approach and proactivity to enhance knowledge, with training provided.
- Systems and applications include both vendor and in-house built tools, covering PnL and Risk management systems.
- Periodic on-call support and shift work are required.
Key Skills required:
- Experience supporting Trading, Pricing, and Risk Management applications.
- Background in supporting front-to-back Trading Systems and Trading Desks.
- Proficient in assessing trading systems and components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, and data issues.
- Knowledgeable about financial markets and products, with a focus on Fixed Income and Interest Rate products.
- Understanding of electronic trading, market connectivity, market making, and algorithmic/automatic trading.
- Proven experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, and systems support teams.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Windows Servers, Oracle, and SQL.
- Strong expertise in Fixed Income, particularly in treasuries and bond trading.
- Experience with scripting, SQL, and/or programming languages.
- Knowledgeable about IT project and development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL.
- Strong analytical skills.
