Assistant Director, Transformation (Strategy and Growth)

    About the job

Strategic Transformation Lead: Shape the Future of Social Service Delivery

What if your next career move allowed you to directly modernize social service delivery for thousands of vulnerable individuals across Singapore?

As Assistant Director, Transformation within our Strategy & Growth team, you won't just be advising on strategy-you will drive end-to-end organizational and digital transformation. Reporting directly to the Director of Strategy & Growth, you will partner with senior leadership, service pillar heads, and frontline teams to redesign how care is delivered. From introducing client-centric digital tools to refining operating models and establishing digital capability playbooks across 400+ staff, your work will directly elevate client outcomes while preserving digital inclusion for less tech-confident communities.

What You Will Build & Drive

    • Strategic Roadmap & Operating Model Redesign: Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic intent into multi-year transformation initiatives, work plans, and future-ready operating models.
    • End-to-End Project Execution: Lead high-visibility initiatives from discovery, problem framing, and business case development through to agile piloting, roll-out, and benefits realization.
    • Digital Inclusion & Capability Building: Design and scale a tiered digital capability program across 400+ employees-building digital confidence through playbooks, communities of practice, and tailored training while keeping human-centric care at the center.
    • Agile Experimentation & Innovation: Run pilots and hypotheses-led tests for innovative service models; establish clear criteria to scale, refine, or sunset initiatives based on real-world evidence.
    • Ecosystem & Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships with public-sector bodies, tech vendors, and social service partners to co-develop solutions, manage KPIs, and align funding or grant commitments.
    • Executive Engagement: Serve as a key presenter and secretariat lead for leadership retreats, strategy cascades, and CEO updates-driving cross-functional change management across all service pillars.

What Makes You Great for This Role

    • Proven Transformation Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in management consulting, internal transformation, service design, or digital transformation-ideally with prior delivery experience in tech, consulting, healthcare, or social sectors.
    • People & Workstream Leadership: 3-5 years leading cross-functional teams or major strategic workstreams, with a strong track record in stakeholder management and organizational change.
    • Structured Problem-Solving & Governance: Skilled in root-cause analysis, process mapping, and translating complex data into actionable priorities-balancing agile test-and-learn approaches with disciplined scope and risk management.
    • Executive Presence: Outstanding communication and influencing skills, capable of constructively challenging assumptions with executive leaders while breaking down complex concepts for frontline staff.
    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Organizational Development, or related field (Master's degree / PMP / Prosci certification is a plus).

    Why Join Our Organization?

Driven by our core values of Resonance, Ingenuity, and Stronger Together, our organization offers a highly collaborative, fast-paced culture where innovation meets real social impact. We prioritize continuous learning, employee well-being, and personal development, providing you with the autonomy to lead high-visibility changes in a warm, supportive workplace.
