Job Title: Security Architect
Our Client is an established financial institution, looking to hire a Security Architect to join their robust team to design, implement and operate the organization's systems and applications to meet business needs, comply with regulatory requirements and protect the organization against cyberattacks.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in security architecture, with a strong focus on application security, cloud-native environments, and a broad understanding of various security domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Develop and implement robust security architectures for cloud-native environments, ensuring the protection of applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Application Security: Lead efforts to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, including threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability management.
- Cloud Security: Design and deploy secure cloud solutions, leveraging best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
- Security Domains: Provide expertise across various security domains, including network security, identity and access management, data protection, and incident response.
- Risk Management: Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and product development, to ensure security is embedded in all processes and projects.
- Leadership: Mentor and guide junior security team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in security architecture, with a focus on application security and cloud-native environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing security solutions in any of the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of application security practices and tools.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
