A growing wealth management firm in the heart of Downtown Toronto is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their team. This is a classic advisory role where you'll manage a book of clients, build strong relationships, and deliver thoughtful financial guidance that supports their long-term goals.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a diversified book of clients
- Provide tailored financial advice and portfolio oversight
- Lead client onboarding and deliver an exceptional advisory experience
- Maintain ongoing communication to guide clients through key life and market events
- Collaborate with internal teams who handle business development, sales, and compliance so you can focus on what matters most - your clients
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Portfolio Manager or Financial Advisor
- Relevant industry credentials (CFA, CIM, CFP, or equivalent)
- Experience managing your own book of clients
- Solid understanding of investment strategies, planning principles, and client relationship management
- A client-first approach with strong communication skills
- Ability to build trust and deliver clear, thoughtful recommendations
