Financial Reporting Manager | Northampton | £65,000 - £75,000pa
The Role
As a key part of the senior finance team, you will oversee financial accounting, central accounting processes, and internal controls. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll ensure accurate external reporting, lead technical accounting initiatives, and partner closely with various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee half-year and year-end financial reporting under IFRS.
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage external audits.
- Manage a small finance team, providing technical support and enhancing financial reporting.
- Handle central accounting, including fixed assets, leases, share-based payments, and provisions.
- Develop and maintain internal controls.
- Prepare consolidated monthly balance sheets and cash flow statements for the Board.
What My Client Is Looking For
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial concepts.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK accounting standards
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant post-qualification experience
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
