Morgan McKinley are partnering with a leading ASX-listed Property Firm, who is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join their team on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract to cover parental leave.

You will report to the Senior Compliance Manager and partner with Auditors, Regulators and various internal stakeholders. The business offers hybrid working (min 3 days) in the Sydney CBD and is looking for someone to join as soon as possible!
Responsibilities:
- Drive strong compliance practices across the group, simplifying complex information to provide clear, actionable advice to diverse internal stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing evolution, implementation, and monitoring of compliance frameworks aligned with Australian regulations.
- Actively identify, assess, and track key regulatory and compliance risks, including AFS licensing, real estate licensing, and privacy.
- Coordinate compliance reviews, control assurance processes, and internal/external audits to identify key areas for operational improvement.
- Oversee critical outsourced service providers across AML, registries, property management, and IT.
Requirements:
- 7 years+ of robust risk and compliance experience, preferably drawn from a funds management, asset management, or property background.
- Proficient in utilizing enterprise risk management systems to support compliance frameworks (experience with Protecht or Workiva is highly regarded).
- Previous experience with Complaints, Incidents, Reporting and Attestations.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the personality and drive to build positive relationships and interface confidently with stakeholders.
- A highly organised, proactive individual who can multitask under pressure and is willing to "roll up their sleeves" to deliver exceptional outcomes.
