One of the leading banks in Australia is looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in merchant acquiring and payments to support the onboarding of a new merchant for a product offered by them. This contract role is an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting project within the payments industry, working alongside a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the discovery phase of the merchant onboarding process, identifying business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from discovery to execution.
- Analyze and document requirements for KYC/AML compliance and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
- Support and manage merchant enquiries related to payments, providing expert guidance and resolution.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and ensure timelines are met.
- Utilize your knowledge of merchant acquiring processes to streamline onboarding and enhance the customer experience.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst role within the payments and merchant acquiring space (Mandatory requirement)
- Proven experience with KYC/AML processes and compliance.
- Strong understanding of merchant onboarding, payments systems, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
