One of Australia's leading universities, renowned for its world-class research and education is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead the implementation of a best-in-class Management System.
As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering this high-profile program, which encompasses technology deployment, data integrations, and business process transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Management System program, ensuring alignment with the Student Experience Roadmap and broader university goals.
- Manage program scope, risks, and issues, and ensure comprehensive documentation of decisions, actions, and outcomes.
- Foster collaboration among critical stakeholders, including senior business leaders, the program sponsor, and the steering committee.
- Lead external vendor and consultant management, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed standards and taking corrective measures when necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement and champion professional standards, innovation, and methodologies within the program.
- Align program resources and manage dependencies within the broader portfolio of projects and initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and extensive experience as a Program Manager, particularly in implementing business process-led CRM systems.
- Previous University experience as a Program Manager (required).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects through the full project lifecycle, delivering within scope, on time, and on budget.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in matrix management and directing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in complex environments, managing multiple project roles and interactions.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio.
