We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join a market disrupting FinTech. This role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance by reviewing and validating complex SQL, SAS, and SSIS codebases used in financial and sustainability reporting.
What you'll do:
- Review and validate SQL queries, SAS scripts, and SSIS packages to ensure accuracy and alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
- Collaborate with IT, data teams, and finance stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support the transformation of raw data into actionable insights for sustainability disclosures.
- Document technical processes and data flows clearly to support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and contribute to continuous reporting enhancements.
- Manage ad hoc projects related to reporting and regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring:
- Strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server (T-SQL), SAS (Base and Macro), and SSIS/Visual Studio.
- Proven experience reviewing complex codebases within a financial services environment.
- Ability to interpret prudential and regulatory reporting standards and translate these into technical solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services reporting, ideally with banking exposure.
