Overview: A leading global financial services institution is seeking a highly skilled Developer to join their RISK Systems Data Platform team as a Vice President. Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance & Support: The successful candidate will monitor and support a range of risk management systems to ensure they are effectively maintained in line with company procedures. They will recommend and implement improvements, focusing on automation and system optimization.
Development & Delivery: The Developer will be responsible for delivering small-scale changes and well-defined features on major initiatives. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new functionalities, ensuring they meet security and development standards.
Design & Development: The role requires a strong focus on designing and developing software solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable. The Developer will work closely with stakeholders to clarify needs, provide work estimates, and ensure the software meets the business's evolving requirements.
Testing & Deployment: The Developer will contribute to and follow the test strategy, participate in integration, system, and regression testing, and assist in the deployment and support of software products across different environments.
Continuous Improvement: The successful candidate will engage in regular process reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements within the team. They will also participate in knowledge sharing and stay updated with the latest developments in information technology.
Requirements:
