Job description:
We're hiring a Management Accountant to join a high-growth school group in South London. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across a scaling organisation. Your work will play a key role in supporting decision making and guiding the next phase of growth. You'll work closely with leadership and operational teams to turn financial data into clear, useful insight, while also strengthening controls and improving reporting processes as the organisation continues to expand. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, building effective financial structures, and contributing to the wider direction of the business. An education background is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly management reporting process, delivering clear insights into financial performance, key drivers, and trends.
- Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with senior leadership to set targets and monitor performance against strategic objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions, growth initiatives, and operational planning.
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes as the organisation scales.
- Work with department leaders to improve financial visibility and support data-driven decision making.
What would the ideal person look like:
- Level 3 Accounting/Finance qualification ATT
- Valid DBS check
- Experience in management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Confident working with colleagues across different teams and senior leadership
