Frontend Software Engineer (Contract)
- £600 - £685 per day (Inside IR35)
- Initial contract until 31st December

We're currently partnering with a global technology organisation to hire an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join a high-impact product team focused on building and evolving critical compliance and verification tooling. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, large-scale frontend systems within a modern engineering environment, contributing to the simplification and unification of multiple internal tools into a single, streamlined platform.
You'll take ownership of frontend development across key products, working closely with compliance stakeholders to design and deliver intuitive, scalable solutions.
- Build and enhance modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Work across a micro-frontend architecture
- Contribute to end-to-end feature development, from design through to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Help unify multiple internal tools into a single platform
- Challenge and improve existing processes and workflows
- Work with APIs (GraphQL & REST) to integrate backend services
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong frontend expertise with React & TypeScript
- Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
- Background working in product-focused environments
- Experience in modern engineering practices (CI/CD, cloud environments, etc.)
- Ability to own features end-to-end and challenge requirements
Desirable:
- Exposure to micro-frontends
- Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes or CI/CD tooling
- Experience in fintech, payments or regulatory environments (KYC, compliance)
- Backend exposure (e.g. Java)
- Experience migrating from Vue/Next.js to React
Working Arrangements:
- Hybrid working - flexible approach to office attendance
- Typically 1 day every 2 weeks in the office
