The purpose of the role will be to lead the relationship with senior budget holders across the business to develop a deep understanding of business performance, providing insightful analysis and strategic advice to drive financial decision-making and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insight and Analysis: Deliver detailed financial analysis and insights to senior leaders and management, driving informed decision-making across the business.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Strategic Planning Support: Support the business's strategic planning process by providing financial expertise and analysis, contributing to long-term business strategies.
- Advisory Role: Provide comprehensive analysis and briefings to business leaders, enabling them to make the best financial decisions. Offer advisory and strategic advice to enhance business performance and achieve financial targets.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional Qualification: Qualified accountant with certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CA, or ACA.
- Business Partnering Experience: Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex organization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to business planning and decision-making processes.
