This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual with 1-2 years of credit control or accounts experience, eager to bring their enthusiasm and people skills to a vibrant, creative industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Credit Control & Sales Ledger: Handle all aspects of credit control, ensuring timely collections while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Daily Banking & Reconciliation: Post payments and reconcile accounts daily, keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to the finance department, aiding in the smooth running of operations.
- Invoice Management: Raise and process invoices across all company departments with attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills & Attributes Required:
- Experience: 1-2 years of credit control or accounts experience, with a sound understanding of financial processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Access Accounting is an advantage but not required.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and internal teams.
- Organisation & Focus: Well-organised and deadline-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Charismatic, outgoing, and skilled at building and sustaining professional relationships.
- Adaptability: A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £35,000
- Location: Based in Islington, with a requirement to be on-site 5 days a week during the probationary period.
