What you will do:
- Apply expertise in quality engineering principles and methods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the company's systems/procedures, thereby optimizing product development, internal and external device manufacturing, and device distribution.
- Investigate moderately complex manufacturing product quality and compliance issues (e.g., CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations) across all production processes before final product release. Analyze findings, offer recommendations, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Design and execute moderately complex experiments and tests, including protocol development, to enhance product quality, validate product performance, and improve manufacturing processes/methods. Evaluate source materials and suppliers. Analyze results, make recommendations, and generate reports.
- Utilize engineering methods such as SIX Sigma and LEAN to optimize manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities for redesign and improvement of basic equipment, tools, and fixtures to enhance manufacturing efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical content of risk management files.
- Create training materials and documentation for production, including work instructions, to facilitate knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.
- Provide guidance and instruction to technicians, oversee test execution, conduct training sessions, and offer feedback. Coordinate technician activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Basic understanding of statistical techniques.
- Previous experience working with lab/industrial equipment.
- Solid grasp of engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with processes and equipment relevant to the assigned work.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Quality systems.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the capability to manage vendors and project stakeholders effectively.
- Proficient in building productive internal and external working relationships.
- Commitment to adhering to all EHS rules and requirements and taking necessary measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
