Our client, a MNC based in Kilkenny, is looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in partnering with key Category teams (Supply, Legal, and Communications) to deliver valuable financial insights that aid decision-making and contribute to the business's success.
The role is a 12 month contract and the client is operating with a hybrid working model ( minimum 2days onsite) and offering a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business to provide insights through financial analysis to evaluate and monitor performance.
- Use data analytics, visualisation, and AI tools to optimise working capital and manage risks.
- Understand and drive business unit performance by developing and managing performance indicators (PIs/KPIs) and related digital dashboards.
- Identify opportunities and risks within strategic and business plans.
- Partner with the business to develop and challenge budgets and forecasts.
- Provide support in monitoring actual performance against targets and making adjustments where necessary.
- Assist in the feasibility and development of business cases, and provide ongoing performance evaluation.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and management reporting for business decisions including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Commercial negotiations.
- Act as a key finance player in process improvement and optimisation projects.
- Participate in lean projects and commercial initiatives from identification to planning and implementation phases.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant or third-level degree in a relevant finance or business discipline.
- 1-3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- Good knowledge of SAP accounting environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in data warehousing tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- A collaborative approach when working with stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
