Job Title: Planning Programme Manager
Location: Newbridge, hybrid
Salary: €65,000 DOE
Our client are looking for a skilled Planning Programme Manager to lead large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects (Wind, Solar, BESS) through the consenting phase. This role involves managing Joint Venture partnerships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring best-in-class planning applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning applications and pre-planning processes for renewable energy projects.
- Manage relationships and contracts with Joint Venture partners.
- Develop and implement effective project management plans, ensuring timelines, risks, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create communications strategies for local communities.
- Evaluate third-party investment opportunities, focusing on planning and environmental considerations.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor direct reports, driving performance and results.
Qualifications:
- Hons Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning, or similar.
- Post-Graduate qualification is an advantage.
- 7-10 years of experience, including 3-5 years at a Senior Project Management level.
- Proven track record in managing large infrastructure projects, preferably in renewable energy.
- Strong skills in programme management, contract negotiation, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
