Morgan McKinley is looking for an Assistant Accountant to work for a lovely company based in the Edenbridge, Kent area. The Accountant role is ideal for a graduate who is newly qualified or studying towards their CIMA / ACA. The Accountant will be part of the Finance team and working with the FD supporting everyday cost accounting, financial analysis, pricing, invoicing etc.
Location: Hybrid working, Edenbridge, Kent
Assistant Accountant duties:
- Assist with monthly financial reviews and budgets
- Financial analysis, support, insight and commentary
- Manage product pricing / costings and cost analysis
- Monitor, track and evaluate costs and identify areas for improvements
- Support the Finance Director with any other duties and also the wider Finance team with invoice processing
- Handle any invoice queries
- Monitor and update the finance systems
Skills and experience:
- Ideally be of a graduate calibre with some experience of working in an Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant / Cost Accounting support type role
- CIMA / ACA qualified or studying towards
- Excellent IT and communication skills both verbally and written
